Dr. Ir. Terry Douglas Jayasuriya

Dr. Jayasuriya is a veteran expert with nearly 40 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Education sectors. As a Tech Partner at SafetyEra, he brings deep expertise in Process Safety Management (PSM) and Functional Safety (FS), supported by his professional certifications as a Chartered Engineer (CEng, UK) and Professional Engineer (PEng, Brunei).

His specialties include HSSE auditing, AI and automation in safety systems, process improvement methodologies, strategic planning, and workplace safety compliance. He is widely recognized for his work in HAZOP studies, SIL facilitation, fire and explosion risk analysis, and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
