Prof. Cai Yiyu

Dr Yiyu Cai is Associate Professor with the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. He heads the Computer-aided Engineering Labs, directs the Digitalization Cluster, and leads the Building Imaging Project which is funded by National Research Foundation, Singapore. Presently, he and his team are actively commercializing the iScan2BIM solution. Dr Cai’s research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Virtual-Reality and their applications in Building & Construction.  He has over 10 patents invented or co-invented.
