Biography
Raunak has around fourteen years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry. He started his career with Mott MacDonald, Abu Dhabi, as an Instrument & Control Engineer.
In Risktec, he has been primarily involved with Safety and Asset Risk Management with extensive experience in performing the Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM) Study projects in the Middle East Region for the O&G, renewables, power plants and the rail sector. Some key clients include Saudi Aramco, ACWA Power, ADNOC, Kiewit Corporation, PetroChina, ENPPI and Doha Metro. He is equipped with essential project management skills and has managed several large-scale projects.
Prior to Risktec, Raunak worked as a consultant in DNV Singapore. He was involved in development of major hazard regulations for Brunei Darussalam, the Safety case for the first LNG terminal in Singapore and reviewed and audited other safety cases on behalf of Energy Market Authority of Singapore and EDPMO Brunei. He has facilitated Failure Mode Effect Analysis Workshops, carried out Risk Based Inspection, Control System validation and developed performance standards for offshore facilities.
His qualifications include a distinction degree in engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation and a Master of Science, System Design Management, from National University of Singapore.
